Visit with Stanley Aughtry

We are excited to partner with the Paramount Theatre's Goldsboro FanFest 2025. As part of the downtown events, we will have a visit with Stanley Aughtry as he returns to his hometown of Goldsboro. All are welcome. Admission is free. For those wearing a Goldsboro FanFest wristband, they will receive a complimentary museum sticker and 10% off in the gift shop. A limited number of commemorative buttons will be available for $5 each.
Stanley Aughtry Jr. is an actor, producer, engineer, and entrepreneur dubbing the title of "actorpreneur". He earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Hampton University and holds a Master's degree in Business Administration. After college, Mr. Aughtry began his career as an engineer and later, followed his entrepreneurial spirit and became a multi-business owner.
Mr. Aughtry landed his first big-screen appearance as an actor in 2008. In 2018, he secured a role in Marvel Studios' Black Panther as Merchant Tribe warrior, Shombay, and reprised this role in Wakanda Forever. In addition to film and television, Mr. Aughtry's first children's book Decisions, Decisions is inspired by his life and personal belief that with hard work, prayer, and dedication, anything is possible. He has won multiple awards on producing the animation "Skin Like Mine". He has also produced the feature film "Kill Devil Hills" and the short film "Darling Nikki".
