Executive Director – Jennifer Kuykendall
Jennifer graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Tulsa where she was a History major. She has lived most recently in St. Louis where she lived for the 25 years working for both the Missouri Botanical Garden and the St. Louis Art Museum. Jennifer moved back to Goldsboro to be near her family and to work for the Wayne County Museum where she has shared her knowledge and experience to create compelling and enriching new exhibits and programs.

Hildegard graduated from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Marketing. She is a Goldsboro, NC native who has a passion for preserving history.

Education & History Consultant: Mary Susan Heath
Mary Susan Heath is a retired Wayne County teacher and author. Her most recent project has been a World War II memoir, Legs Astride the World, for her uncle, Lt. Col. Lehman H. Johnson, Jr. Working with the Wayne County Historical Society and partnering with Wayne County Public Schools, she has written two plays and numerous lesson plans for their newly launched traveling trunks exhibition.
